In recent times, with teams becoming fully remote, we’ve noticed that realtime collaboration has become a key expectation from many team-centric applications. Features that allow users to see who is collaborating with them, where they are and what they are doing, all make applications sticker and increase customer engagement

To help developers easily bring this capability to their applications, we are currently working on a new SDK called Ably Collaborative Spaces. Through this SDK, we are exposing purpose-built APIs to enable multiplayer collaboration features in team-centric apps like yours.
